Navy Federal Credit Union has just launched a new venture: Acorporate partnership with the USO of Metropolitan Washington. The$46 billion credit union will help USO-Metro serve departingand arriving service members at its four airport lounges in theBaltimore-Washington, D.C. area. Last year USO-Metro served 122,500people through the centers and each year distributes 250,000 to300,000 care packages containing such items as internationalcalling cards, disposable cameras and toiletries to deployingservice members. The partnership with Navy Federal officiallylaunched on Aug. 29 at USO-Metro's lounge at Baltimore-WashingtonInternational Airport.
