Cashless Society? Irene Says Not So Fast
While I did not have to resort to the survival extremes of a Bear Grylls, I can say that surviving the aftermath of a hurricane is no walk in the park.
Today is day 5 without power at my home in Williamsburg, Va., and the constant hum of generators offers little comfort. Our county alone has been hit with some $25 million in damages as trees hit homes, businesses and of course, power lines. I am happy to say injuries were few.
