Utah Credit Union Planning Core Processing Switch Later This Year

The $330 million Granite Credit Union in Salt Lake City will convert to the FLEX core processing platform later this year, according to Computer Marketing Corp.

The Sandy, Utah, company said the 31,000-member credit union will be the one of nearly 20 credit unions that have converted to its platform in the past year.

Granite CU currently is an Open Solutions Inc. client, according to creditunions.com’s Technology Survey. CMC said the conversion will take place in the third quarter.

CMC said it now has about 275 credit unions using its platform in the United States and the eastern Caribbean.
