The $90 million CSC Employees Federal Credit Union of El Segundo, Calif., has chosen COMPASS 4CUs LLC to provide compliance services to the 9,500-member credit union.
The Washington, D.C., consultancy will provide Bank Secrecy Act and policy and procedure reviews, as well as website audits and general compliance support, the company and credit union said.
Global IT services provider CSC moved its corporate headquarters from El Segundo to Falls Church, Va., in 2008.
“With the movement of our main offices from California to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area it was important that we choose a compliance provider that understands the variation of regulatory requirements from state to state,” said Liz Monaco, president/CEO of CSC Employees FCU.
“During the transition of their main offices and after, CSC Employees FCU, will enjoy preventative, cost effective compliance solutions” said Gaye DeCesare, president of COMPASS 4 CUs.
COMPASS 4CUs is a wholly owned CUSO of the $274 million Belvoir FCU in Woodbridge, Va., that began operations last August. DeCesare said it now has nine credit union clients and conducts training for state leagues and CUNA’s Center for Professional Development.
