Mitek Systems said it has been granted four new patents for its widely used “Point, Shoot and Deposit” mobile remote check deposit technology.
The new protection from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office expands the patent issued last August, the San Diego company said, adding that it’s now waiting for patent protection for its mobile photo bill pay technology.
The mobile RDC solution supports iPhone, BlackBerry and Android devices. Mitek said its client list of white-label users include Fiserv Inc., Jack Henry & Associates, FIS, Wausau Financial Systems, CheckAlt Payment Solutions, Bluepoint Solutions and VSoft.
