Members of the $1.5 billion Baxter Credit Union have deposited $10 million using their iPhones and Androids in the first six months that the Vernon Hills, Ill., credit union has offered the remote deposit capture service.
The 130,000-member suburban Chicago credit union is using the DeposZip RDC solution from Vertifi Software LLC, a subsidiary of EasCorp in Burlington, Mass.
BCU's Deposit Anywhere provides both desktop scanning and mobile capture and posts funds to the account immediately in most cases, the credit union said.
