Members of the $1.5 billion Baxter Credit Union have deposited $10 million using their iPhones and Androids in the first six months that the Vernon Hills, Ill., credit union has offered the remote deposit capture service.
The 130,000-member suburban Chicago credit union is using the DeposZip RDC solution from Vertifi Software LLC, a subsidiary of EasCorp in Burlington, Mass.
BCU’s Deposit Anywhere provides both desktop scanning and mobile capture and posts funds to the account immediately in most cases, the credit union said.
Vertifi said it has more than 100,000 members using its Depos-Zip solutions at 60 credit unions.
