The $1.5 billion Baxter Credit Union said that $10 million has been deposited in the past six months by members using iPhones and Androids.
The 130,000-member suburban Chicago credit union is using a remote deposit capture service from Vertifi Software LLC, a subsidiary of EasCorp in Burlington, Mass.
BCU’s Deposit Anywhere provides both desktop scanning and mobile capture and posts funds to the account immediately in most cases, the Vernon Hills, Ill., credit union said.
Vertifi said it has more than 100,000 members using its DeposZip solutions at more than 60 credit unions.
