Northwest Resource Federal Credit Union has named Jim McCarthy president/CEO.
Prior to joining the Portland, Ore.-based credit union, McCarthy has spent over 13 years at TwinStar Credit Union. For the past eight years he’s served as vice president of strategic planning, overseeing asset liability management, new program development, mergers, MCIF and the annual strategic business plan.
McCarthy is a graduate of St. Martin's University in Olympia with a degree in accounting and finance. He graduated from Western CUNA Management School with high honors.
He is the fifth CEO in Northwest Resource’s 76-year history.
