Account access through Apple and Android mobile devices is now an option for the 137,000 members of the $1.6 billion Texas Dow Employees Credit Union.
The Lake Jackson, Texas., credit union partnered with FI-Mobile Inc. of Round Rock, Texas, to offer the apps, which include account balances, transaction history, transfers and locations of branches, surcharge-free ATMs and shared branching through CU Service Centers.
"With this new offering, we are able to give our members the on-the-go banking experience they have asked for, offering access through a variety of smartphones," said Brad Clutter, online banking product manager at TDECU.
Contact information, rates, access to TDECU credit cards through gotomycard.com and Facebook and Twitter links are also included.
In addition to its online presence, TDECU now has 23 service locations, including 19 branches.
