Members of Chantilly, Va.-based Justice Federal Credit Union recently raised $17,962.50 for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children through the credit union's Skip-a-Pay loan program.
The program gave members the option to skip qualified loan payments for November or December 2010, and a portion of the Skip-a-Pay fee was donated to the NCMEC.
NCMEC is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to serve as the nation's resource on the issues of missing and sexually exploited children. It works in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Juvenile and Delinquency Prevention.
