Workers CU Names Interim President/CEO

Workers' Credit Union has named Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer Douglas J. Petersen as interim president/CEO.

Petersen replaces Frederick D. Healey, who served as president/CEO for the past 15 years and has left the Fitchburg, Mass.-based credit union.

Petersen joined the credit union in 1995 as treasurer and chief financial officer, after 11 years of professional experience in the financial services industry. He also serves as president of the credit union's CUSO Workers' Financial Services LLC.

According to the board a permanent CEO will be named in early 2011.
