The remote-deposit capture product lineup at WAUSAU Financial Systems has been re-branded and re-named Deposit 24/7.
The company said it currently provides RDC to more than 200 financial institutions. The lineup includes mobile capture via smart phone, consumer capture, merchant capture and risk-monitoring that includes duplicate detection, dollar limits and image analytics.
"Risk has been a major barrier and source of apprehension for financial institutions in deploying new technologies such as mobile RDC and creating a paperless branch. Yet, the desire to innovate and thereby grow their customer base is there," said Kathy Strasser, executive vice president of solution management for WAUSAU Financial Systems in Mosinee, Wis.
"The next generation of customers has specific demands on how they want to bank, and mobile technology is at the forefront. Taking advantage of new forms of RDC like consumer and mobile will enable financial institutions to stay competitive and broaden their customer base," Strasser said.
WAUSAU, which said it now processes more than $1 trillion a year in payments for more than 650 organizations, debuted the new brand at the BAI Retail Delivery Expo.
