Member Driven Technologies said it has just converted two morecredit unions to users of the Symitar Episys core platform,bringing to 45 the number of CUs now using the Detroit CUSO's datacenter operations.

They are the $109 million MTC FCU in Greenville, S.C., and the$65 million Department of Labor FCU in Washington, D.C., accordingto Larry Nichols, CEO and president of MDT in suburban Warren,Mich.

MTC FCU had been a Fiserv DataSafe client while Department ofLabor FCU had been running on a CMC/Flex platform, according toCallahan & Associates' Technology Survey.

Nichols said MDT, which began operations in 2003 after it wasformed by a group of seven Michigan credit unions, is scheduled toconvert two more credit unions in November, bringing its 2010 totalto nine. He said MDT will soon open a second center in the Detroitsuburb of Southfield.

The CUSO currently operates in 18 states and its client listincludes 24 of the approximately 45 credit unions in Michigan thatuse the Episys platform, Nichols said.

San Diego-based Symitar is a division of Jack Henry &Associates of Monett, Mo., and provides core processing to morethan 700 credit unions.
