Palmetto Cooperative Services LLC of Columbia, S.C., has joined the Viewpointe image exchange network, the company and CUSO said.
PCS, which provides operational and technical support services to more than 400 credit unions in 20 states and the District of Columbia, will be using the Pointe2Pointe with Internet connectivity option, allowing the CUSO and its credit unions to exchange images with a host of financial institutions online rather than over a dedicated telecom line.

"Viewpointe's Internet solution helps us meet that objective by allowing our clients to securely and efficiently engage in image exchange with some of the nation's top financial institutions."
New York-based Viewpointe said it has signed a number of credit union co-ops in the past year.
