PCS, which provides operational and technical support services to more than 400 credit unions in 20 states and the District of Columbia, will be using the Pointe2Pointe with Internet connectivity option, allowing the CUSO and its credit unions to exchange images with a host of financial institutions online rather than over a dedicated telecom line.
"Providing our clients with the most efficient solutions to run their businesses is always a paramount objective," said Mark Curran, senior vice president at PCS. "Viewpointe's Internet solution helps us meet that objective by allowing our clients to securely and efficiently engage in image exchange with some of the nation's top financial institutions."
New York-based Viewpointe said it has signed a number of credit union co-ops in the past year.
"It's especially rewarding to have another credit union cooperative find our network provides the right solution for its members," said Glenn Wheeler, president of Viewpointe Clearing, Settlement & Association Services.
