Michigan First Launches Mobile Offering

Michigan First Credit Union has added mobile banking, offering the channel through mobile browser, texting or free applications for BlackBerry, iPhone, Android and other devices.

Michigan First Mobile was developed in partnership with Access Softek Inc., a California-based provider of mobile banking and other technologies. The service is available to all online bankers at $564 million Michigan First.

Functionality includes balances, transaction history, funds transfer, bill pay and locators for branches and ATMs in the CO-OP network.

The 82,000-member institution has nine branches and is open to membership to residents of Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties in and around Detroit.
