John Farr recently walked away with more than a new car purchase. The member of CSRA Credit Union, a division of Associated Credit Union, won $5,000 in gold in a campaign drawing.
|The "Take Home the Gold" promotion encouraged individuals to apply for a new or used auto loan at the credit union and be entered into a drawing to win $5,000 in gold. The Augusta, Ga.-based CSRA CU, Associated CU in Norcross, Ga., in conjunction with August Credit Union CarFinders, held the promotion in August and September.
|"In these tough economic times, we wanted to encourage more of our members to apply for a loan, get a great rate, and at the same time help stimulate the economy," said Leah Eldridge, division president of CSRA CU.
