AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union has unveiled a free discount program with an eye on helping consumers reduce their health care costs.
Working much like a savings coupon, the RxCut Plus discount card entitles the bearer to reduced prices for prescriptions, laboratory tests and diagnostic medical imaging.
"As a community credit union, we feel it is our responsibility to offer our members the best products and services available," said Kipp Stecher, CEO of the Mechanicsburg, Pa.-based credit union.
Locals can pick up an RxCut Plus Card at any AmeriChoice branch or online at americhoicerx.org.
