The NCUA Board will be briefed at Thursday's meeting on the agency's advertising campaign to increase awareness of the NCUSIF.

|

The agency unveiled a campaign last month, featuring personal finance specialist Suze Orman, telling consumers that their money is insured up to $250,000. The agency revised its budget last summer to allocate $1.17 million for the campaign. The ads are a follow up to a similar campaign which featured financial columnist Jane Bryant Quinn.

The NCUA Board is scheduled to meet at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at its headquarters in Alexandria, Va.
