Baptist Hospital Becomes Life Credit Union

After 52 years Baptist Hospital Credit Union has reinvented itself as Life Credit Union.

According to the Nashville, Tenn.-based credit union's President/CEO Pam Tenpenny, the new name embodies its mission and ministry.

"Our new name and branding demonstrates who we are today and our direction for the future. Our pledge to our members is to be an integral part of their lives, for life," said Tenpenny.

Originally chartered in April 1958 as Baptist Hospital Credit Union with only nine members and assets of $45, the credit union now serves over 4,200 members and has $22.5 million in assets.
