It turns out that HealthCare Associates Credit Union didn't have to look too far to find its new leader.
Joe Kregul, former vice president/chief financial officer, has been promoted to CEO of the Naperville, Ill.-based credit union.
Kregul has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, including the last 13 in the credit union arena. Kregul has also served on the board of the Aurora Chapter of Credit Unions, including as secretary and chairman for several years. He holds the Certified Chief Executive designation from CUES CEO Institute and holds bachelor's degrees in accounting and business administration from Lewis University in Romeoville, Ill.
