COMPASS 4 CUs LLC, a new, Washington area CUSO has opened for business to provide credit unions nationwide with regulatory compliance assistance.
Through its staff, the Woodbridge, Va.-based CUSO said areas of support include creating and reviewing policies and procedures, pre- and post exam areas of concern, Bank Secrecy Act and Office of Foreign Assets Control training for staff and volunteers.
Compliance support is available via telephone and e-mail, marketing reviews of branch signage, online and print ads, brochures and website reviews, according to the CUSO.
COMPASS is an acronym for Compliance Assistance for Credit Unions.
