Wescom Resources Group is now offering its own mobile banking lineup, including apps for BlackBerrys, iPhones and the Google Android platform.
Programming staff at the 225-client CUSO of $2.7 billion Wescom Credit Union in Pasadena, Calif., built the programs in-house and they are being offered as either hosted or in-house solutions to other credit unions.
They're being marketed under the MemberEdge brand name and include seamless integration with the CUSO's existing online banking solutions, including bill pay and alerts, WRG said.
Eight credit unions already have committed to the new mobile banking platform, WRG said, including three that will be running them on non-WRG online banking platforms. More than 13,000 of Wescom's 300,000 members have downloaded the apps themselves since the April 1 launch.
