Viewpointe said it has added $2.8 billion Corporate America Credit Union of Irondale, Ala., to its Internet image exchange network.
The Pointe2Pointe network uses file transfer software to safely exchange images between institutions and is being targeted toward organizations with modest check volumes and a need for quick, cost-effective image exchange, said New York City-based Viewpointe.
Corporate America said it now serves about 200 members credit unions and related organizations across the country.
"We believe Corporate America's members will benefit greatly from being part of this wider network while adding value to all of the members in our community," said Glenn Wheeler, president of Viewpointe Clearing, Settlement & Association Services, a provider of image archives, clearing and ACH services to clients ranging from credit unions to Fortune 100 financial institutions.
