NACUSO has awarded Ongoing Operations LLC its 2010 CUSO Collaboration and Innovation award.
The Hagerstown, Md.-based disaster recovery and business continuity CUSO launched in 2005 and serves more than 125 credit unions. CEO Kirk Drake accepted the award from NACUSO President/CEO Tom Davis.
The collaboration and innovation award is aimed at showcasing those CUSOs who exhibit excellence and innovation in utilizing the collaborative model to bring new solutions to the credit union industry, according to NACUSO.
NACUSO's 2010 honorable mention went to CU Partner Solutions, a CUSO formed in 2006 by eight credit unions to link up with established firms for discounted rates on services that would have been more expensive if the cooperatives made purchases on their own.
