Davis Retires as Stanford FCU CEO

Stanford Federal Credit Union announced today that CEO John Davis will retire effective May 14.

Davis has been CEO of the credit union since December 1999. Prior to becoming CEO, he served three years as chief financial officer at the credit union.

"John provided visionary leadership and set the highest standards for integrity and accountability. Those strong values helped Stanford FCU maintain its long tradition of safety and financial soundness as well as its reputation as a model financial institution," said Board Chair Jane Duperrault.

Joan Opp, former executive vice president/chief financial officer for Texas Trust Credit Union and a 15-year credit union professional, will succeed Davis.
