N.Y. CU Alliance Extends Discounts to Members

The $1.8 billion SEFCU has formed a new program with area businesses that will offer discounts on products and services to members of the Albany, N.Y.-based cooperative.

Each business partner has a link to its Web site on www.sefcu.com, and has the opportunity to take part in and sponsor community events, according to SEFCU. A number of businesses have partnered with the CU including Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Office Max. Members can also get discounts on attorney services, advertising, auto repair, healthcare and hotel services through other SEFCU business partners.

The CU said it is seeking additional alliances to provide mutual support of business services, support their community by donating time and resources, increase the financial literacy of their employees, increase the ability to "go green," and provide their employees with SEFCU products and services.
