CU Returns to Power Up Small Biz

Power Financial Credit Union and Staples have teamed up again to help one local small business jumpstart their business plans.

The Pembroke Pines, Fla.-based credit union has kicked off its second Small Business Makeover Challenge.

According to Power Financial President/CEO Allan M. Prindle, the contest is designed to demonstrate how small business owners can apply good financial planning and budgeting strategies to help achieve success, even during difficult times.

Businesses with less than 250 employees located in Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties are eligible and can complete an online entry form at www.powerfi.org through March 31, 2010. The winner will be announced on April 5, 2010.

The winning business owner will receive private financial consultations provided by Power Investments, marketing consultation with Power Financial CU's marketing department, a public relations audit from brainstorm2go, inc., financial literacy employee seminars and a $1,000 Staples Gift Card courtesy of Staples and Power Financial CU.
