Geezeo and iPayn In Joint Offering

Geezeo's personal financial management and social networking system is now being offered jointly with the white label online bill-pay solution from iPay Technologies, the companies said.

Geezeo's customizable interface includes single sign-on capabilities for access through online banking platforms and integrates seamlessly with iPay Technologies' bill-pay software now in use at more than 3,600 credit unions and banks, the companies said.

"This adds to the value of the institution in the financial life of individual consumers, boosts retention and leads to future opportunities for cross-selling and offering additional services," said Shawn Ward, co-founder of Hartford, Conn.-based Geezeo, which recently began offering its PFM as an online banking add-on after building a base of more than 100,000 users as a stand-alone offering on the Web.

"Geezeo's clients have the opportunity to increase the stickiness of their relationships with consumers by offering online bill payment services that equal or exceed those offered by larger competitors," said Bill Ready, president of iPay Technologies in Elizabethtown, Ky.
