Add Communications Family Credit Union to the growing list of credit unions heading into the future with a new name.
The Saginaw, Michigan-based credit union has become Wildfire Credit Union.
With an expanded membership and community charter, research revealed the old name was creating confusion among consumers about their eligibility to join. The new name was designed to be perceived as more inclusive and dynamic to help the over $512 million credit union stand out from the competition.
