Workers' Credit Union Adds Mobile Banking

Mobile banking is now available to the 65,000 members of Workers' Credit Union (www.wcu.com) of Fitchburg, Mass.

Members of the $695 million credit union can use any Web-enabled phone or PDA through any major carrier to access the service, which includes account balances and transfers, bill pay, ATM and branch locators and rate information.

Security features include user name and passwords not being stored on the device, and a five-minute inactivity automatic log-off.

Workers' is using the mobile banking solution from MShift. Its online banking provider is Digital Insight and its core processor is the Fidelity MISER core platform, according to its NCUA 5300 Call Report.
