SilverCloud Knowledge Systems and Cornerstone Advisors have partnered to put the consultancy's risk management and compliance expertise on the software company's portal solution for credit unions.
Cornerstone's Risk Management vBook series includes policies and plans based on best practices the Arizona-based firm has used in working with credit unions and community banks.
The five volumes include a business continuity plan for restoring information technology infrastructure and services, an incident response plan, information security and records and vendor management policies.
The books also can be updated and customized after they're deployed on SilverCloud's KnowledgeBook platform.
"We often see organizations that have the appropriate technology in place, but have not sufficiently surrounded that technology with appropriate controls via policies and procedures to mitigate risk," said Bob Roth, Cornerstone's senior director of risk management.
"At Cornerstone, we understand that the best technicians are not always the best authors of documentation. We support their efforts through authoring and supplementing their documentation efforts," Roth said.
