Truliant Adopts Behavioral Screening Shield

Truliant Federal Credit Union in Winston-Salem, N.C., has deployed the FraudMAP behavioral activity monitor from Guardian Analytics of Los Altos, Calif.

The solution models all individual online activity sessions and flags behaviors inconsistent with what would be expected, the company said.

"FraudMAP was easily integrated with our Digital Insight Internet banking platform and immediately alerted us to attempted fraud," said Bob West, chief information officer at $1.2 billion Truliant.

The company doesn't release client counts but said Truliant joins Digital and Star One credit unions as FraudMAP users.
