At the heart of the new partnership is DigitalMailer's automatic relationship builder, an e-mail engine that targets members with customized messages based on their in-market actions, needs or customer profiles.
In addition to promoting credit unions' mortgage programs and strengthening relationships with members, the CU Realty program also aims to build a strong bond between credit unions and the realtors' community. In turn, these real estate agents help educate members about the credit unions' real estate and mortgage programs. According to Tina Powers, CU Realty's COO, there is a waiting list of more than 700 agents wanting to participate in the program.
The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based CU Realty connects participating credit unions with approved real estate agents to create home buying and selling opportunities. The CUSO serves 80 credit unions in 19 states. Herndon, Va.-based DigitalMailer is an e-marketing firm.
