In light of the economic crisis, Credit Union Times has added a new category to its annual awards.
In the individual categories bracket Credit Union Times is adding a CFO of the Year award. With this new addition, we are also extending the deadline for submitting nominees to Jan. 14, 2009.
The awards program now includes the following individual categories:
o CEO of the Year
o CFO of the Year
o Volunteer of the Year
o Information Technology Executive of the Year
o Marketing Executive of the Year
There are also two institutional awards in the following categories:
o Outstanding Political Action
o Serving the Underserved
Winners will be selected by the editorial department. Credit Union Times will host an awards event Feb. 24, 2009 during CUNA's Governmental Affairs Conference to unveil the winners.
The nomination entry form can be found on the Credit Union Times Web site, www.cutimes.com.
In the Dec. 10 issue of Credit Union Times stated the wrong deadline for our annual awards. The deadline for nominees is Jan. 14, 2009.
