Credit Union 24 Announces Branding Deal With Cardtronics

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Credit unions participating in Credit Union 24 will receive preferred pricing from Cardtronics should the CU want to brand a Cardtronics ATM with its own logo and screens.

The national, credit union owned ATM network announced a deal with Cardtronics on Nov. 3. Cardtronics is the leading, independent ATM provider in the country and is known for putting its primarily cash dispensing machines in key retail locations.

The company is the world's largest ATM operator and works with thousands of retailers, including six of the top 10 retailers in the country, to deploy ATMs in locations where consumers need them the most. Through the ATM branding program, credit unions can take advantage of the fact that their members and potential members are already visiting these locations and will be exposed to the credit union brand and messages, Credit Union 24 said.

"We have a terrific opportunity these days to promote the credit union advantage to consumers," said Credit Union 24 President/CEO Jim Park. "ATM branding is a cost-effective tool for reinforcing the credit union message to prospective members while reminding current members that they've made the right choice."
