GPS Comes To Branching

ATLANTA -- Personal navigation devices are the latest piece of technology to come to shared branching.

Members with devices from Garmin or Tom Tom or other navigation systems can visit the shared branching locator site (www.cuservicecenters.com) and download the branch locations into their devices. This supplements the other location tools the site offers.

"Shared branching helps credit unions stay as accessible as even the largest banks, an especially critical factor considering the recent bank mergers and financial market upheaval," said Carroll Beach, CO-OP Shared Branching president. "With this new tool, credit unions have one more way to find a convenient location to do their banking when they are on the go."

CO-OP Shared Branching is one of the two nationwide CU shared branching networks.
