Filene Research Institute Launches Legacy Gifts Fund

MADISON, Wis. -- Credit unions can now support Filene Research Institute through a legacy gifts fund.

Credit unions can support the fund through memorials and honorariums, gifts through a donor's will, retirement funds, life insurance, financial accounts and cash donations.

"For two decades, Filene has been a powerful force for the continued development of the cooperative credit union idea," said Patsy Van Ouwerkerk, Filene Board chair and president/CEO of Travis Credit Union. "Gifts to the legacy gift fund will help to maintain projects that impact the very future of credit unions, as well as the evolution of new ideas to help us serve our members better."

Credit unions interested in the fund can contact Lois Belekevich, director of membership at Filene at 608-231-8552 or loisb@filene.org.
