13 Clients Added to Akcelerant

MALVERN, Pa. -- Akcelerant Software LLC said it added 13 new customers in the second quarter of 2008, including several credit unions who added other services beyond the company's flagship collections software solution.

Among the new customers are the $3.4 billion ESL FCU in Rochester, N.Y., the $2.4 billion Redstone FCU in Huntsville, Ala., and the $2.4 billion Hudson Valley FCU in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., one of the company's first clients running on an UltraData core processing platform.

The signings include users of the company's collections solutions as well as its Akcelerant Framework platform to connect other software, the company said.

"Akcelerant Framework has become a truly versatile software platform that can quickly help businesses solve core challenges in many areas, such as member service and lending, not just collections," said Eric Snyder, senior vice president of business development at Akcelerant.

The Philadelphia-area company said its client list now includes more than 200 credit unions.
