Wright-Patt To Offer Check Scans

FAIRBORN, Ohio -- Wright-Patt Credit Union will soon be adding to its service offerings the ability for eligible members to scan checks at home and send in the electronic image through the Internet.

The $1.4 billion CU will be using DeposZip service from EasCorp. The Burlington, Mass.-based corporate credit union said Wright-Patt is the 18th credit union to sign up for DeposZip and the fourth over $1 billion in assets.

Wright-Patt already has adopted branch capture and ATM imaging technology and now is adding the consumer and merchant remote-capture service from EasCorp, its first relationship with the corporate.

Cynthia Schroeder, vice president of information technology and support services said the credit union will work with EasCorp staff on internal and beta testing with a few members and staff training and then will announce the offering with a direct mail campaign in October.
