First Corporate Credit Union Mourns Assistant VP Dinah Nadela

PHOENIX -- First Corporate Credit Union has announced that Dinah Nadela, assistant vice president of sales and service, passed away suddenly on Aug. 14 at the age of 41.

Nadela joined FirstCorp in 1995 as a member services representative. Through her years at FirstCorp, she learned every aspect of the corporate credit union, eventually serving in nearly all departments.

Nadela was a champion of ACH, serving as PaymentsNation's ACH rules and operations committee vice chair and as a member of its paper systems and operations committee. She earned her accredited ACH professional designation in 2002.

"Dinah's legacy will be one of service. She worked tirelessly to serve credit unions, FirstCorp, and her community. She will be dearly missed by the entire credit union community and those she had the opportunity to touch," said FirstCorp's Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Stacy Glidden.

She is survived by her mother and father, a sister, her husband, Jonathan, and her 13-year-old son, Zachary. An account for Nadela's son has been set up at Arizona Central Credit Union to assist with his education. Donations may be mailed to P.O. Box 11650 Phoenix, AZ 85061-1650 and can be made payable to Zachary Nadela.
