FraudMAP will be used to provide detailed fraud alerts to the $4.1 billion credit union's internal security team and help improve the ability to prevent multichannel schemes against DCU's 350,000 members, the company and credit union said.

FraudMAP is also transparent to our members and will not impact their online experience," said Craig Roy, vice president of support services at DCU.
In addition to lessening false alerts, California-based Guardian Analytics said, the FraudMAP solution uses predictive modeling techniques to help detect multichannel fraud schemes in which the fraudster uses a compromised online account to gather information that enables a fraudulent transaction via a different channel, such as check fraud.
