Georgia Central Offers Invest Roundtables

DULUTH, Ga. -- Georgia Central Credit Union will host several free investment seminars Aug. 18-21, targeting member credit unions who need help with 2009 planning and budgeting.

Cory Johnston, senior vice president/chief investment officer and Sarina Freedland, assistant vice president of investment services will lead the sessions, which will include a review of current economic conditions, 2009 interest rate forecasts and corresponding budget sheet strategies.

In order to accommodate as many members as possible, the seminars will be staged in Columbus, Valdosta, St. Simon's Island and Duluth, all in Georgia.

"The roundtables provide an excellent opportunity to get members together from throughout the state for education and discussion," Johnston said. "And because we are able to offer them at no cost in multiple locations, it ensures that all members can take advantage of at least one of the many educational opportunities that Georgia Central provides."
