BestSource CU Mourns Loss of Board Member

WATERFORD, Mich. -- BestSource Credit Union announced the death of Ludger Beauvais, a member of its board of directors.

Beauvais was hired as the general manager of the J. L. Hudson's Employees Credit Union in 1975. At the same time, he held the dual role of secretary/treasurer on the board of directors. Beauvais retired from the J. L. Hudson's Employees CU in 1985 while retaining his board position until his death.

During his tenure at the credit union, Beauvais was witness to the many changes in the credit union from new products and services, membership and assets growing and a name change to BestSource.

John Normandeau, president/CEO of BestSource said, "Ludger gave more than 33 years to the credit union and our members. We will miss his leadership."

Donations can be made in his honor to the Madonna University Scholarship Fund at 36600 Schoolcraft Road, Livonia, MI 48150.

BestSource Credit Union has served the complete financial needs of Macy's employees and family members for more than 50 years. Their membership charter has expanded to serve those who live, work or worship in areas of Oakland County.
