Affinity FCU Raffles N.Y.C. Weekend

BASKING RIDGE, N.J. -- The Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation has found a creative way to raise funds to benefit the group of nonprofit organizations it supports-- raffling off a New York City weekend trip for two.

The grand prize weekend includes car service to and from Manhattan, a two-night stay at the Marriot Marquis, $1,000 spending money, four dining experiences, two tickets to a Broadway show, and Gray Line tour passes to transport the winner throughout the city. The weekend getaway is valued at $4,500.

"Affinity is thrilled to be raffling off this wonderful weekend getaway. Money generated from the fundraiser will be directed to the outstanding groups we work so closely with all year long," said Lisabeth Degnan, executive director of the Foundation.

Tickets are $20 each or three for $50 and the drawing will be held Thursday, Sept. 30, 2008 at Affinity's Basking Ridge headquarters.

The foundation supports local community-based, nonprofit outreach organizations, including the Affinity Federal Credit Union scholarship program, St. Clare's Hospital Foundation, Community Hope--Hope for Veterans Program, Making It Possible to End Homelessness, Matheny Medical and Education Center, Middle Earth, Midland School, Morris County Organization for Hispanic Affairs and the Somerset Home for Temporarily Displaced Children.
