AACUC Election Underway

SHREVEPORT, La. -- The African American Credit Union Coalition has three board seats up for election and all of the incumbents are vying for reelection.

The seats are currently held by Bert Hash, president/CEO of Municipal Employees Credit Union of Baltimore Inc., Hubert Hoosman, president/CEO of Vantage CU and Lynda McDaniel, vice president of savings and membership at Navy FCU.

Those interested in seeking a position on AACUC's board (www.aacuc.org) should submit a letter of intent, resume, a biographical sketch of 100 words or less and a photo by midnight June 6 to: Leroy Nesbit Jr., chairman,

The board seats will be voted on Aug. 10 during the AACUC's business meeting, which takes place during the coalition's annual conference in Houston.
