FIS Offers Three-Way Mobile Banking Service

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Fidelity National Information Service Inc. is now offering a mobile banking suite that offers all three interface modes of delivery in what the company says is a first from core technology processors.

The combination of SMS/text, mobile Web and downloadable applications allows financial institutions to target segments of their market with the appropriate solution, the company said.

FIS partnered with SMS/text and mobile Web specialist ClairMail Inc. of Novato, Calif., and mFoundry, a Sausalito, Calif.-based provider of downloadable mobile banking applications, to create the offering.

Jacksonville-based FIS (www.fidelityinfoservices.com) is a provider of core technology services to more than 9,000 financial institutions in 80 countries.
