BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- US Federal Credit Union is partnering with Minneapolis
Community and Technical College to support local cinema talents with the Cinema Division Production Excellence Awards.
The partnership will foster a scholarship program that recognizes cinema talent and enables its future success.
Displaying its confidence in Minneapolis Community's unique educational experience and the gifted students involved, US Federal has expanded its sponsorship role in helping to further develop this program and the students it reaches.
This year's the college's Cinema Division Production Excellence Awards will be presented to a handful of emerging cinema professionals chosen based on their final projects in the areas of digital photography, film, media production, screenwriting, sound arts and video.
A culminating awards ceremony is scheduled to honor these exceptional students and their works this fall.
The Minneapolis Community cinema division is dedicated to offering courses that combine the liberal arts tradition with a strong technical or occupational component.
