BOULDER, Colo. -- In a city known both for its eco-friendliness and affinity for freewheeling, Elevations Credit Union here is helping its members jump on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle by lowering its best rate on Harley motorcycle loans to correspond with the same rate as its automobile loans.
Road Warrior enthusiasts can now enjoy rates as low as 5.49% on Harley-Davidson motorcycle financing at Elevation.
"With terms up to 84 months this program creates an opportunity for enthusiasts to own their dream bike", said Elevations Chief Lending Officer Craig Burkhard. Adding that, "Because Harley's are a high-ticket item, financing has been a hurdle to ownership for a lot of people. It's not unusual to see loan rates in excess of 7.0% on these bikes."
Harley-Davidson motorcycles retain their value better than any other bike on the market today, found the CU, which isconfident it can provide an extremely competitive loan rate while at the same time minimizing exposure based on the value of these motorcycles.
As part of the promotion, Elevations Credit Union has partnered with High Country Harley-Davidson in Fredrick to bring Harley-Davidson's into a number of its branches for display. "It wasn't easy to get in the door, but it's very cool to have one of these big motorcycles in our lobby", said Sarah Brown, Elevations Baseline branch manager.
