ROCK HILL, S.C. — The 2008 merger trend continues as WinthropCredit Union and Founders Federal Credit Union announce mergerplans.
|Effective May 1, Winthrop CU becomes Founders FCU with 22branches and three service centers in North and South Carolina,170,000 members and over $1.4 billion in assets.
|As members of Founders FCU members will now have access to awide variety of products and services including free checking,great savings rates, free debit cards, platinum Visa credit orMastercard, free Founders on-line and e-Lending, bill pay, Call 24Account Access by phone, investment services, financial counselingand Founders Insurance Services, the CU said.
|The original staff will continue to operate the Winthrop CUbranch.
