Marketplace, HealthAmerica Merge

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Marketplace Federal Credit Union will be merged into HealthAmerica Credit Union, which has enabled HealthAmerica CU to reach the $100 million milestone.

The combined credit union will serve both memberships in 46 states with a combined membership of 20,000. HACU will acquire members in the merger that includes multistate employees of Winn Dixie Stores, Stein Mart, Allstate Insurance Workplace Division, and other groups in a nine-state area.

HACU will also now have a total of 11 offices, acquiring two locations in the merger. One location is just outside of New Orleans in Hammond, La. and the other is on Jacksonville's Westside on Lenox Avenue.

The systems will be merged on June 30th.
